BBQ Wings

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- Spice rub
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- Sauce
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/8 cup honey
- 1/8 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 cup Frank’s hot sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ranch
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1/2 packet of ranch seasoning
Directions
- Wings
- Combine and mix spice rub ingredients in a bowl.
- Add chicken wings and coat thoroughly.
- Lay chicken wings on a wire rack and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
- Place wings in a 400F over for 45 min or until internal temp reaches 165F.
- In sauce pan combine all sauce ingredient and heat until combined.
- Toss wings in a bowl with sauce until coated.
- Ranch
- Combine buttermilk, mayo and ranch seasoning in a bowl and mix until smooth. Add buttermilk until desired consistency ha been reached.
Notes
- If you don’t have buttermilk, combine 1/2 milk and 1/2 tbsp of either lemon juice or white vinegar and let it sit for 5 min at room temp.
